𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 is planning to take you to several virtual journeys capitalizing on 3D Printing. There will be many journeys to come: journeys to historical places, journeys inside your body, journeys inside earth and tech journeys.

We are starting our first journey to Mecca.

Mecca, Arabic Makkah, ancient Bakkah is a city located in the western province of Saudi Arabia. It is the holiest of Muslim city. It is the place where Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) was born and received his first revelations in the early 7th century. At its heart is the cube-shaped Ka'ba, originally built by Abraham and his son Ishmael, according to the Quran. However, there are some who believe that the founder of the Kaaba was either Angels or Adam.

“For many Muslims around the world, an opportunity to visit Makkah is the ultimate blessing. Today, this city receives millions of visitors who converge to fulfil the fifth pillar of Islam, pilgrimage.

Makkah is home to the largest and holiest mosque in the world named Masjid Al-Haram. The Kaaba, a large stone structure constituting, is a single room with a marble floor that lies at the center of Masjid Al-Haram. Tradition holds that it was originally a simple unroofed rectangular structure.”

There are several important places in Makkah where every place has a story. This post will only mention few of them.
